 Late Autumn of 2005 was the starting point of ASPOR support group in Lugoj.
The event was organized by Dr. Rodica Ilie, endocrynologist and Dr. Simona Holacsek, physiotherapist with the participation of Dr. Andrea Gasparik, ASPOR presindent.
The opening was held by Dr. Gasparik, with a presentation of the Association for the Prevention of Osteoporosis in Romania, followed by Dr. Rodica Ilie, who pinpointed the medical aspects of the disease.Dr. Simona Holacsek, responsible with the physical exercise of the group presented the importance of the exercise in preventing osteoporosis.The cosy ambiance of the meeting culminated with a short program of physical exercises. The new members of the group met each others and started planning a “third generation disco” event. The next meeting will be held on the 14th of Decembre which is ment to celebrate the Winter Holidays and also have the chance to greet the new coming year.Our warmest wishes to all ASPOR members,Lugoj support group.
